Five of the most influential voices of the HR space

There are some inspiring HR thought leaders out there, producing some incredible content.

So, we thought it was about time we gave five of our favourites a shout out! If you don’t check out their content regularly now’s the time to sign up, follow and connect.

Hung Lee

Hung produces the increasingly popular ‘Recruiting brainfood’ newsletter every week, curating the best HR content and delivering it via one, easy-to-digest email. It’s a great way to stay on top of what the industry is interested in and talking about. Hung has now also introduced a Facebook group and weekly video broadcast to discuss some of the most talked about topics from his latest newsletter. If you haven’t already checked it out - get involved!

Tim Sackett

Tim is not only the author of our favourite ever blog post, ‘How to hug in the office’, but also produces a great newsletter you can subscribe to. Tim reviews one piece of HR tech every week so you don’t have to, and publishes his review in both his newsletter and on his blog. He’s reviewed 1000s of products and is still going strong, so if you’re looking for some HR tech inspiration, Tim’s your man!

Meghan M Biro

Meghan is founder and CEO of TalentCulture, an online community for professionals to enjoy and engage with dynamic content - including articles, webinars, podcasts, eBooks and guides. She hosts the weekly #WorkTrends podcast and Twitter chat that has become a staple in our calendars and each week covers a different theme but offers a really good grasp of what’s current and important in the industry.

Jon Thurmond

Jon is an HR practitioner who also hosts the #HRSocialHour 30 minute podcast and Twitter chat each month, calling on experiences from his day job, to help fuel discussions on the #HRSocialHour channels. Jon is also the face our HR Hub video content portal - if you haven’t already checked it out, you should! And Jon’s will be the first face you see, introducing the portal and what you can expect from it.

Laurie Ruettimann

Laurie first came on our radar when we saw her present at an HR conference in New Zealand. Her honest and, frankly, hilarious delivery style meant she made a very positive lasting impression. Now, we can’t get enough of her blog content and podcast discussions (which also recently happened to feature Hung Lee!)

We realise there are a number of great industry spokespeople missing from our list but, in the interest of picking just five, we hope you agree we’ve focused in on some highly influential industry pros. Share the love and let us know whose content you can’t live without on our social posts.
