Xref: Officially Cyber Essentials Certified
Posted by Daniel Whatmuff in Product
The Xref business centres on simplicity and three core benefits: speed, security and value. Reference checking with Xref is:
- Simply Faster
- Simply Safer
- Simply Smarter
The ability to offer each of these assurances to organisations globally, comes down to one thing, data. Our automated platform utilises data to add efficiency to the reference checking process, monitor and detect any suspicious activity on the platform and offer greater insight to employers, allowing them to make an informed hiring decision.
With the magnitude of data crossing and being stored on our platform, we have always ensured we operate as nothing less than a centre of excellence for data privacy and security.
Now, we are pleased to announce that our Xref UK arm is officially certified as part of the Government’s Cyber Essentials Scheme, which was introduced to help organisations protect themselves against security threats online.
Most online attacks exploit weaknesses in software and IT systems and Cyber Essentials was introduced to help organisations fix these flaws and instill a good level of cyber security. Having achieved this certificate, our customers can feel assured that their data is protected from cyber attacks.
In order to be recognised as a Cyber Essentials certified organisation, we were required to implement and demonstrate a range of technical controls across:
- UK Laptops
- UK Network Hardware
- All Public Facing Web Infrastructure
If you have any questions about the certification process or what it means, feel free to get in touch with one of the team here at Xref in London and we can fill you in on the process and why we thought it was key to offering the best possible service to our customers.
