For 37 years, tens of thousands of cyclists have made their way from Sydney to Wollongong to raise funds for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS).
This year, a team of Xref riders - some experienced...some much less so - are hitting the roads to take on the 82km MS Sydney to the Gong ride.
Our aim is to do everything we can to raise vital funds that will help MS sufferers access support services, so quality care can be provided while the research for treatments continues.
MS affects over 25,000 in Australia
MS is a condition that can affect your brain, spinal cord, and the optic nerves in your eyes, causing a variety of long lasting symptoms such as fatigue, trouble walking and muscle weakness.
No one should have to face MS alone, which is why we are gearing-up for what will be an enormous but hugely rewarding challenge, on Sunday 4 November.
A bid to fight MS
Our riders (pictured above - what a good looking bunch!) are already in training and prepping themselves for the scenic but tough route, which takes participants from Sydney through the Royal National Park, the Stanwell Tops, Seal Cliff Bridge before pedaling over the finish line in Wollongong.
