Bulk reference checking is the practice of conducting multiple reference checks on candidates in one go. This is done using reference checking software and can save hours of manual work. A reference check generally involves contacting the candidate’s former employers, supervisors and co-workers to verify past employment history and to obtain information about the individual's knowledge, skills, abilities and character.
