Step 1: Request an Xref reference
A student can add their work or volunteer experience to the Workplacer App and request a reference check with a press of a button from the Workplacer App.
Step 2: Monitor the progress
The student will receive an email from Xref notifying them that the reference request has been sent to the referee as well as updating their App profile to ‘verification in progress’. The referees will then be sent an email to verify and complete feedback on the candidate. When the referee completes the reference check the student will be notified by email and their job experience is automatically marked as ‘verified’.
Step 3: Review References
Once references are completed, they will be available to the employer in the Workplacer Jobs Portal. Potential employers can view these references, if the student has applied for a job, and request further details if they are interested in hiring the candidate.
